If you decide to come to St. Petersburg, then you definitely need to visit its magnificent museums, look at the famous bridges, and settle on one of the small streets located in the historical part of the city. This will allow you to feel the breath of old St. Petersburg, understand the rhythm of its life, and discover its mystical attraction. One of these streets: Driving around.
This is the oldest street in our city. It is located just a 10-minute walk from Nevsky Prospekt and connects the famous Ligovsky and Zagorodny Prospekts. In the 18th century, on the site of the first avenue there were coachmens settlements, and on the site of the second – the Great Country Road. The clearing cut in the forest, along which cab drivers passed, began to be called Razezhaya Road and later Razezzhaya Street. In the 19th century, young Nekrasov found shelter on this street, in the 20th century, Kuprin, and Dostoevsky wrote about it in his novels.

In the 21st century, a hotel with the ancient Russian name “Aglaya” was located on this famous street. The uniqueness of this hotel is that being located in the historical part of the city, on the oldest street, among historical architectural monuments, the hotel itself is a work of the 21st century. By 2014, the hotel was built by the famous Belgian hotelier Henri Alexis Brialmont, who fell in love with St. Petersburg at first sight.
